EAS offers moulded Silicone gaskets mostly using low cost compression moulding or liquid injection moulding techniques.

For low volume or large parts, compression moulding can be an advantage over simple 2D flat cut gaskets where here is a high % of waste. By moulding with low-cost tooling – even for extra large parts that would need to be produced in segments and bonded, this technique can be used. By using stage moulding we are able to produce parts many metres in length or diameter, that would not be possible in one-piece by any other method.

For high volume products, silicone liquid injection moulding is used where high production rates can be met. This is also relevant for products that require clean-room production such as Food and Medical items, where the material is untouched by human hand, and can even be vacuum packed on line after contact-less inspection.
