Usage
Silicone rubber products have excellent resistance to ozone, oxidation, ultraviolet light, corona discharge, cosmic radiation, ionising radiation and weathering in general.
As an FDA grade material, it is used extensively in the Food equipment and medical appliance industries. Red Silicones are also widely used in industrial applications where higher temperature resistance is required, or where the unique electrical resistance of this material is a benefit.
Availability
The material is available from roll 1.2mts wide – 0.5mm, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm are in maximum 10mt rolls. 8mm, 10mm and 12mm are also available on request in maximum 5mt rolls.
