Complicated with High Tolerances !

While tool-cut gaskets produced in the 1000’s are our bread and butter, we pride ourselves on challenges such as this fine flange track gasket.

How we do it

Using the finest cutting equipment such as pure water jet cutting and laser, we are able to produce these narrow flange gaskets to exacting tolerances.

With just 2.4mm wide flanges on 1.5mm thick materials, these parts have been cut with a consistent wall tolerance of 0.1mm (±0.05mm).

While the customers CAD files helped, we had to manipulate each drawing with micro tabs to hold the part in place so there is absolutely no movement during the cutting process. These tabs being so small, simply rub off during final inspection.
