Combinations of many factors, manufacturing shut-downs, material shortages, variable demand, sea-freight problems, etc etc. We are seeing unprecedented rises in many polymers from all over the World – up to 40% !

Because of this, it now becomes even more important for us – and our customers – to look at different ways of reducing waste.

Does Waste Reduction reduce Costs ?

The less material we waste, and the more we optimise – the lower the basic cost of any product.

As a Gasket manufacturer we have many methods to achieve and maximise waste reduction.

Gasket design – we can help customers design or re-design parts to use raw material more efficiently. This could be simply by reducing the thickness of a part, or by producing a part in segments.
We can switch from sheet cut parts to moulded parts. This eliminates waste from centres of gaskets which often cannot be economically used.
Our systems already nest parts very efficiently. By combining different parts within tooling we can also utilise skeletons and centres and offer vastly reduced prices on parts.
We can work with customers to rationalise the materials they use for their parts. In this way we can then make full optimisation of materials.
