An economical moderate oil resistant material having good flex properties.
Description
This material is ideally suited for Automotive gaskets and general industrial applications. It has excellent sealing and rebound resistance due to the use of Virgin Cork Granules with a combination of Natural and Synthetic polymers (Neoprene/Nitrile).

Usage
Typically used for automotive applications ie: sump gaskets, valve rocker cover gaskets, radiator gaskets etc. The material is also used for many general engineering applications and as an inexpensive gasket material, can often function much better than solid rubbers or other materials at a fraction of their cost.
Availability
Our General Purpose Cork sheeting is available in 1040mm x 1040mm square sheet form in thicknesses ranging from 1.5mm to 6mm as standard stock. Other thicknesses can be made on request including 0.8mm, 1mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm up to 100mm.
1.5 to 6mm thicknesses are normally available from stock – if there is an shortage we will advise immediately and confirm delivery lead time.
