Mica is a naturally occurring silicate product and has been used for many years in electrical insulation applications.
It’s flakes or crystals can be bonded with mixtures of resins, varnishes and elastomers to form highly resilient materials for armature coils and slots, windings, elements, heaters etc.
Parts made in Mica can be found in most industries, including household appliances, metallurgy, petrol & gas, automotive, aerospace, H&V.
