2023 has been anothe record year for East Anglian Sealing – with sales during some months at double the previous year.
From October things began to quieten down as the effects of political decisions, high fuel costs, high interest rates and the ongoing war in Ukraine, amongst other things, filtered through to many manufacturing companies across the UK.
However, come December and we’ve seen a spectacular change with many new projects now confirmed for the New Year – and lots of new customers opening accounts and increasing our order books to levels never seen before.
So, we’ll be hitting the New Year running on our return to work on the 2nd January. We’ve just installed one new press, and will be looking to get yet another multi-axis machine installed in the Spring. (To make room for that we will be off-loading our trusty Assyst Bulmer knife machine – if anyone’s interested it comes with a brand new belt and can cut continuous roll form material.)
