We supply many standard moulded elastomeric seals with ever-increasing stocks of the more common items, backed up by bespoke manufacture to order. These include Bonded Seals, O Ring seals, Rotary Shaft Seals etc. in materials such as Nitrile, Neoprene, EPDM, PTFE, Fluroelastomer, Silicone along with more exotic materials such as HNBR, Kalrez, FFKM, Fluorosilicone.
We are often able to offer special non-standard seals from new tooling within 7 – 10 days of order.
Rubber moulding shot weights from 1gram to 200kgs are produced on a variety of machines, from the smallest part produced to date at 1mm diameter to the largest at 32mts diameter by stage moulding. In one piece the largest presses used can produce up to 1.2m x 2.4m from multi-daylight platens capable of using multi-cavity tools. Specialist equipment to produce dual hardness parts is also available, while our Silicone moulding capabilities are endless!
All types of rubber to metal bonded moulded seals and gaskets are produced for different applications. Sifter sieves with stainless steel mesh and an integrally moulded edge seal are produced for powder handling equipment, while inflatable seals include metal valves inserted during manufacture. Energiser springs are used in many lip seals to ensure constant pressure is applied in use and these are often moulded into the seals as integral parts.
All rigid, semi-rigid and flexible materials can be used in the manufacture of moulded seals including all types of Elastomers (Nitrile, Neoprene, Hypalon, Butyl, Natural Rubber, EPDM, Silicone, Polyurethane, Fluoroelastomer etc). To accompany these elastomeric grades which range in hardness from 10°sh A to 95°sh A we also offer plastic moulded components – typically by injection moulding in materials such as Nylon, ABS, PVC, Polycarbonate etc.
