Our PTFE sheet material is a skived sheeting produced from 100% Virgin PolyTetraFluoroEthylene polymer (PTFE).
Description
As an unfilled virgin PTFE sheet material, this quality is used for general purpose sealing in some of the most harsh environments. Not only does the material perform well across a wide temperature range, but it is also chemical resistant and FDA compliant.

Usage
Virgin PTFE sheet material has excellent resistance to chemicals, including Hydrochloric, Sulphuric and Nitric Acids, Ammonia, Benzene, Bromine, Ethanol, Trichloroethylene, Fluorine Gas, Sulphur Dioxide.
This makes the material a first choice when sealing in these environments.
We are also able to offer PTFE sheet with fillers that further enhance it’s properties for specific applications – such as glass filled, carbon filled, brass filled etc – these are all available on request.
Availability
Virgin PTFE is stocked in standard 1.2mt square sheets, 0.25mm, 0.5mm, 1mm, 1.5mm and 3mm thick. Other thicknesses are available and we are also able to supply larger 1.5mt square sheets along with moulded and machined products which are all made to order.
