EA69f Pure PTFE packing for use with Food – FDA approved materials

Description
Our EA69f packing is made from Pure PTFE multi-filament yarns which are impregnated with PTFE dispersion and chemical resistant lubrication. All components used in the manufacture of this material are FDA compliant, and the material is manufactured within the guide-lines of the FDA paragraph specification for Gland Packings for use in food and pharmaceutical industries. The materials used are pure PTFE, are non-reactive with the environment. The fibres are non-absorbing and non-staining and are suitable for contact with food product, potable water and high purity fluids. This paragraph certification number is 21 CFR177.1550. During the braiding process, the fibres are pre-shrunk and formed into the typical square braid used for most packings.
With the added (pure) PTFE dispersion, the packing is self lubricating with superb non-friction properties and is designed to work in the most demanding conditions.

Usage
The material used in production of this packing is food and drugs safe, making it the obvious packing for pumps and valves in both rotary and static applications in the Food, Drinks and Pharmaceutical industries.

The material is available in standard 8mt coils in 3mm (1/8″), 5mm (3/16″), 6.5mm (1/4″), 8mm (5/16″), 9.5mm (3/8″), 11mm (7/16″), 12.5mm (1/2″), 14mm (9/16″), 16mm (5/8″), 19mm (3/4″), 22mm (7/8″) and 25mm (1″) square sections.
