EA69d PTFE packing
1/8″ (3mm) to 1″ (25mm) square in 8mt boxes
Description
Our EA69d packing is made from Pure PTFE multi-filament yarns which are vacuum impregnated with PTFE dispersion.
With the added PTFE dispersion, the packing is designed to work with steam and gas and chemicals and is also is self-lubricating with superb non-friction properties being designed to work in the most demanding conditions without hardening or drying out. As a packing, EAS69d has a tensile strength up to 20x higher (up to 50,000psi) than solid PTFE at much lower cost.

Usage
This material is suitable for low speed applications in pumps, mixers, valves and shaft boxes where sealing against steam, solvents and harsh chemicals (not fluorine or molten and alkaline metals).

The material is available in standard 8mt coils in 3mm (1/8″), 5mm (3/16″), 6.5mm (1/4″), 8mm (5/16″), 9.5mm (3/8″), 11mm (7/16″), 12.5mm (1/2″), 14mm (9/16″), 16mm (5/8″), 19mm (3/4″), 22mm (7/8″) and 25mm (1″) square sections.
