C4400 Klingersil is branded BS7531 Grade Y premium grade non-asbestos sheeting, produced at Klingers manufacturing plant in Austria.
Description
C4400 is a premium grade sealing material with very good mechanical strength often used for general purpose applications. Based on a aramid fibres bonded with NBR rubber. It has good resistance to water, oils, fuels and hydrocarbons.
It is tested and certified to BS 7531 Grade Y, DIN-DGVW, Firesafe HTB 90.0223.39.0, BAM U W28 (oxygen 80bar/100°C), KTW A 528/88/G, SVGW 89-053-7, Germanischer Lloyd 98 952-97 HH and TA-Luft.
C4400 Klingersil Material Identification
C4400 is a branded material, plain green one side and branded green on the reverse. Like all Klingersil grades, it has a mica particle release agent on both sides introduced during the manufacturing process.
Being produced by this respected manufacturer, the material is also of the highest quality and far surpasses many alternative materials in the market.
Each sheet is batch stamped confirming the press, operator, batch and cure date.

Usage
Suitable for use with oils, water, steam, gases, salt solutions, fuels, alcohols, moderate organic and inorganic acids, hydrocarbons, lubricants and refrigerants. It has outstanding performance in many applications.

C4400 is stocked in standard 1.5m x 2m sheets in 0.25mm, 0.4mm, 0.5mm, 0.75mm, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm and 3mm thicknesses.
