High purity exfoliated graphite sheeting has now been made more competitive by our ability to produce parts at much faster rates. Our customers can also benefit from lower sheeting costs based on an increased use of the material at EAS Ltd.
Following the collapse of a major UK convertor, we have begun to see increased sales of various Graphite based materials in the UK. This has helped us reduce our material prices by almost 50%. At the same time, we’ve incorporated new machinery and processes into our production which in turn has increased our productivity and reduced costs.
All these factors mean we can offer even keener prices on items such as cut gaskets and die-formed rings, used extensively in products such as exhaust systems and heating and refrigerant systems.
Description
Our Graphite sheeting is produced form the highest quality materials. We supply graphite either plain, metal foil laminated or with metal tanged (pegged) reinforcement using various metals.
We are able to supply gaskets with metal protection on bores in many different configurations.
Pure graphite is highly maleable and we are also able to offer compressed, ‘die-formed’ parts using simple tooling. These parts can take the form of washers or profiled rings such as chevron seal sets.
Usage
Graphite is used in a wide ranged of industrial sealing applications including steam, hot water, thermal oils and hydrocarbon processing. In general, SS316 stainless tanged material is the preferred grade for most applications, with foil reinforced material being used for applications where thinner gaskets are necessary.

Graphite Sheet – Availability
Sheets of either 1mt x 1mt or 1.5mt x 1.5mt square are available from 0.5mm up to 3mm. Thicker materials can be made to order. Best practice is to minimise the thickness of any gasket used so optimum sealing can be acheived.

While the material is relatively easy to cut, we are more than happy to cut any design you require, in any volume. We regularly supply special ‘one-off’s’ for breakdown requirements backed up by spares where needed. But we’re equally happy in producing parts in the thousands !
