EAS does not harvest email addresses or any other identification from our customers now without their permission.
From 29th May our systems will be updated with requests to those who contact us, while our GDPR policy is already available for all to read on the web.
Remember
You’re in control – you can ask us to update your records at any time and that includes deleting them. Where specific persons are identified for individual types of correspondence – such as automatic invoices or statements that we issue, we can simply divert these to a global business email address you may have if required.
What Happens ?
If you use our contact form on this web site – your email address is ONLY used to transmit that message to us – it is not retained on the web server. When the mail is received, we respond to your request and open up a line of communication. Those email messages between two businesses are recorded on our system, but that is as far it goes – no additional information is added, so only data your prefer to us is ever retained – and then only used for marketing purposes once we have obtained your permission.
Spam
We, like you – absolutely hate Spam – and we’re not talking about the tinned meat variety !
Every day, our AntiVirus systems delete hundreds of spam emails – luckily very few get through, so we know exactly how you feel. We have never, and will never use ‘scatter-gun’ emailing techniques to market our products and at any time we contact an individual it is normally by request, or from reference of a colleague. And – whatever request we have, we will never pass on information to a third party without informing you first – the control of your information is in your hands.
