At EAS we have the capabilities to manufacture anything from one-off bespoke Gaskets right through to runs of thousands at a time. And today’s despatches were a prime example of that. The 5000+ gaskets in the photo opposite left our site in Bulmer this afternoon. Cutting a wide range of materials including Cork; Non-Asbestos; Flexoid & Various grades of Rubber. Thickness’ range from 0.3mm – 1.5mm thick for this particular job, all cut on our Travelling Head Press.

We choose the fastest and most precise equipment for production depending on customers’ requirements.
These machines produce at the highest possible speed – but are also CAD based with complicated nesting software ensuring maximum yield and minimal waste. Material feeding and de-pipping systems mean that work flows through the equipment as efficiently as possible, while in-line inspection equipment guarantees consistent product.

One-Off Bespoke Gaskets & Design

One of the other despatches today was this one-off water-jet cut Turbo Exhaust gasket for a member of the public’s car restoration project out of 1.5mm Non-Asbestos.

We manufacture small to medium runs using various machines – automatic drag knives, oscillating knives, high-speed CNC routers and mills, laser cutters and water-jet, all of which we have on site in Bulmer.

We are approved to ISO 9001:2008 for design and can offer advice, or help design / re-design any of the parts that we are able to supply across the many different types of materials we handle. We can also use our extensive material manufacturer base to ascertain correct materials for specific applications, and in many cases can also organise for testing to be made on these materials.
