Klingersil C4324 Description
C4324 grade is a cost effective grade sealing material with very good mechanical strength often used for general purpose applications. Based on a blend of glass, aramid and carbon fibres bonded with NBR rubber, It has good resistance to oils, fuels, hydrocarbons, water, low pressure steam and also for weak acids and alkalis.
This grade of sheeting is the lowest cost product in the Klingersil range and is seen as a universal grade for less aggressive situations.
The material also meets the requirements of BS 7531:2006 Grade Y and is UK WRAS approved for use with potable water.
Along with this specification, C4324 also complies with DIN-DVGW, DIN-DGVW W 270, with German Lloyd and SVDW approvals.
Klingersil C4324 Material Identification
This is a branded material, green one side and black on the reverse with the grade printed on one side.
The material has inherent non-stick properties from a surface layer or mica particle introduced during the manufacturing process.
For traceability purposes, each sheet is also batch stamped confirming the press, operator, batch and date of manufacture.
Usage
Resistant to water, oils, hydrocarbons and many other chemicals. Universal high-pressure gasket for a wide range of suitable applications.
