Happy New Year !

While the latest Covid variant spreads across the World, we are all facing a different future – and can only hope that this new ‘norm’ gradually becomes more manageable and less of a risk to the more vulnerable amongst us.

As a company, we are taking a positive attitude to work however, and hopefully this will help both our staff and customers over the coming year take on the challenges that will undoubtedly face us.

While inflation kicks in, with dramatic increases in some materials for us that are both directly and indirectly influenced by Covid – we are fortunate in seeing our order book increasing at an exponential rate, with new accounts being won every day.

So – we hoping 2022 will be a much better year !

What can we do to help you ?

The last two years have certainly been testing. Many small companies have been dissolved, and industries such as the Hospitality and Holiday sectors, have been decimated.

While we certainly are indirectly involved in these sectors – supplying food processing companies, Breweries, Aircraft maintenance companies, Baggage Handlers, etc etc – our strength has and will continue to be in supplying the broadest range of industries possible.

We have seen severe increases in costs of some raw materials in the past few months – such as Silicone rubber and other elastomers. By working with Global suppliers and negotiating new contracts, we are counteracting these increases where possible – and are actively helping new accounts to reduce their costs by switching to alternative raw material suppliers.

In some cases, these savings are £1000’s per month for many customers and our uptake of new customers needing to change suppliers is proof of our commitment to all our customers.

New Equipment and Staff

In the last two months, we’ve not only installed new high speed production equipment, but have also taken on new staff – including a production manager from a Gasket company who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to strengthen our team.

Our sister company is also looking for new staff for fitting work and we’re planning to extend our office space at Bulmer with plans on further storage expansion later in the year.
